Chatmeter Ranks Top Restaurant Brands in Online Reputation and Local Brand Visibility

Chat Meter, a web-based tool that allows users to see what other people are thinking about your restaurant chain and other restaurants in the same market. What makes this tool different from others is that it actually ranks the restaurant chain based on the opinions of real people. This means that you actually have a metric to assess the actual quality of your service as well as your competition. It’s really worth a look. But first, here’s how it works:

The Chatmeter website has a marketplace where you can search for restaurants based on location, category, star rating, ratings, menu, price and many other criteria. You can see all the information you need about your prospect restaurant right at your doorstep. And the cool thing about it is that they also offer links to some famous review sites. So you can get more information about your prospect before you visit. Now that’s powerful.

Rankings are determined by a complex algorithm that takes into account both the content of the web pages and the input of ChatMeter users. The logic behind it, though, is simple. When completing the questionnaire, you will find information about the restaurant you want to rank as well as specific questions about specific features, ambiance, service and cuisine. In essence, the more information you are willing to share, the higher the chances that you will rank well.

Once you have completed the questionnaire, you will see results within a few minutes. You may even be pleasantly surprised by the results. The beauty of chat meters is that they base their ranking on raw data and therefore not subjective factors. There is no foot or mess and there is no need to guess.

If you do not want to take the time to manually submit your own profiles and wait for results, you can always use the advanced ranking options. Just go to the advanced menu and click on ‘Ranking by category’ or whatever suits your needs. Here you can see a list of different restaurant chains with their current ranking. Depending on which ones you try to rank well, you can either select them directly or browse through their menu to rank them according to specific topics. Some of them offer a list of the best places in a particular city, others have national options.

Lastly, the Chat Meter also provides a handy breakdown of the trends between restaurants. This information is useful when planning a trip to a particular city. For example, did you know that New York has the most number of Chinese restaurants than any other city in the United States? Other cities with many Chinese-owned restaurants include Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C., and Miami. With all this information at hand, you know what to expect when you get there.

The best part is that it is completely free. You do not have to worry about signing up for a subscription or spending money on any other restaurant business resource. All you have to do is search for an existing Chat Meter account and gather the information you need. It’s that easy!

The more comprehensive your search becomes, the better prepared you will be for what lies ahead for your next restaurant or business trip. With so much information at hand, you are also ready for the conversation that arises with other restaurant owners who rely on the rankings. You will not miss important tips, information and restaurant business news that could mean major improvements for your own restaurant business.

The “Local Brand Report: Top Restaurant Brands of 2021” looks at thousands of ratings, ads, and rankings from the past year to identify which brands go beyond getting and retaining brand loyal customers through local search engine optimization. Brands that prioritize responses to reviews and maintain listing accuracy typically have better insight into the right customer experience.

The marks in this report are ranked based on Online Reputation and Chatmeter’s Local Brand Visibility (LBV) score (Chatmeter Proprietary Score for Measures, Ads, Ranking and Competitors).

Some of the top ranking brands include; Arby d ‘, Chick-fil-A, Noodles & amp; Company., Bob Evans, Roosters, and Fogo de Chao.

The report revealed some key results about the restaurant industry’s online and offline customer experience. The following findings are key performance indicators that multi-location brands should use to determine the effectiveness of their local SEO and reputation management strategies:

– The average LBV score for industry was 62, representing an above average score. – The highest scoring LBV category was ads with an average of 81. Each market size earned an average score of over 70 – reflecting an industry leader. Small brands (below 50 locations) have earned the highest average overall rating of 4.3 stars. – The percentage of positive customer sentiment and reviews increased by almost 10% as the size of the brand decreased: large size 65.8% positive, medium size 74.7% positive, and small size 83.1% positive.

The report delves deeper into customer reviews by looking at the sentiment surrounding new or expanded experiences implemented as a result of COVID-19. The chatmeter found that experiences like “Outdoor Sitting” and “Curbside Pickup” deserved more positive customer feedback than experiences with “Delivery” or “Phone”. Insights like this show just how important it is for brands to continually monitor and analyze customer ratings for a glimpse into the right customer experience.

“The pandemic has plagued restaurant brands over the last year and a half. The brands at the top of this list have worked tirelessly to anticipate customer changes,” said Cynthia Sener, CRO of Chatmeter. “This report provides valuable insights into all the ways in which restaurant brands enhance the online to offline customer experience and lead brand loyalty.”

As many brands begin to reopen and emerge from the pandemic, they face new challenges such as hiring and food shortages. The findings from the Chatmeter report serve as a guide for brands to better inform and engage with customers when working on new construction.

The research for this report was done through analysis of 75 restaurant organizations between March 2020 and March 2021 through the Chatmeter LocationHQ platform.
