This part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe will feature many of the same universes and many familiar faces, such as Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine, Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man, and TV shows that feature many other people wonder.

Phase 5 of the MCU is already underway, with twelve movies and TV shows slated for release in 2023. The Phase begins with Ant-Man and the Wasp, but Phase 5 will be wrapped in ‘Thunderbolts.’ The movie will also feature “Daredevil: Reborn,” with Vincent D’Onofrio and Charlie Cox reprising their original Netflix series. “Captain America: New World Order” will feature Anthony Mackie as the new Captain America, and Mahershala Ali as Blade.

In addition to the movies and TV shows mentioned above, fans will be happy to see the return of Nova. The character has been on the radar of Marvel fans for over a decade. Some want to see little Sam Alexander, while others want to see the classic Richard Rider. Despite this, Disney + has already announced that Nova will star in a standalone series, starting in 2023. The series will also feature the first appearance of the treacherous gods in a series titled ‘Nova’.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is huge. There are many films in progress. Promotion continues for Episode 4. Currently, several TV shows will be linked to big budget news releases. These TV shows will introduce new characters, angles, and franchises that will continue to expand the MCU. Hopefully, the next movie will be better than the last one.

The X-Men is getting a revival, which will include many new movies, and the upcoming X-Men series will have their own Disney + series. A solo movie for Wolverine will probably happen in February 2026. If Wolverine is given a movie, it should be the first mutant movie. The series may even lead directly to Avengers 5!

Avengers: Endgame is also coming to Netflix and Disney+. In the future, Marvel is also giving a television series called what if. This film, featuring Brie Larson and Samuel L. Jackson, will follow the events of the Captain Marvel movie. As part of Phase 5 of the MCU, the show will also continue Ms. Marvel’s television show that has also been expanded.

The Fantastic Four revival has long been predicted for a release date of 2024. The movie was supposed to be directed by Jon Watts, but Watts resigned in April. A Fantastic Four sequel has been promised for a 2024 premiere. The Fantastic Four reboot has been delayed twice due to director issues, but it looks like the October 6, 2024 launch and May 3, 2024.

Apart from these two movies, Spider-Man: Sophomore Year and The Avengers: Infinity War are already in the works. Phase 5 of the MCU project is already in development. Year Two will take place after the events of What If…? Week 1 part five. The upcoming movies will introduce new MCU heroes like Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, and the Avengers.

After Avengers: Infinity War, the next MCU installment will see the rise of a new heroine. In 2024, the first two films of this Episode will feature a heroine named Ms. Marvel. In 2023, the second series of Iron Man will feature Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, a scientist who creates the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. In addition to Thorne, Alden Ehrenreich and Shea Coulee will also join the show.

Secret Invasion: The first action series in the MCU’s Phase 5 is set to premiere on Disney+ in early 2023. Sam L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury, but Ben Mendelsohn is set to portray the shape-shifting Skrull Talos. The film will also feature Emilia Clarke and Olivia Colman. No word on whether or not Rege-Jean Page will appear in this film.

The Quantum Realm will be an important element in Ant-Man and the Wasp. Despite the lack of information about Quantum Realm, Quantum Man and the Wasp will feature Michael Douglas and Evangeline Lilly. There are also several movies scheduled for 2023 that are already scheduled to play in theaters. This Part of the MCU will feature two movies and an animated series.

Marvel Phase 5 movies

Marvel Phase 5 movies

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to introduce us to the MCU’s more villains, such as Kang the Conqueror. The time-traveling genius will be played by Jonathan Majors, who portrayed one of Kang’s time alters – He’s still – in Loki season 1.

His official arrival could have big implications for the MCU, with Doctor Strange 2 and Loki’s first season writer Michael Waldron teasing (via Murphy’s Multiverse (opens in new listing) ). In the MCU of Grace Randolph (open in the new menu) and CineStealth (open in the new menu), fans should not expect Kang’s MCU arc to “line up”, moreover, together ai and many types of Kang to install on Marvel Phase 5 and Phase 6. projects.

Ant-Man 3 will also see the return of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), Janey van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), and Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton ). Samuel L Jackson seems to have revealed that Nick Fury will also appear, but the Quantum Realm will be the main location in the movie.

Meanwhile, actor Bill Murray has teased that he might be a villain alongside Majors’ Kang, and reports suggest he’s a character named Krylar. Corey Stoll, who played Yellowjacket in 2015’s Ant-Man, will appear as another Marvel supervillain in MODOK.

Peyton Reed directs, marking his third MCU film (and Ant-Man). Principal photography wrapped in November 2021 and, while reshooting in San Francisco earlier this year, the film should not be delayed. In addition, a teaser was shown at Comic-Con 2022, but it cannot be published online for a while.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. Day 3 will bring the curtain down on the trilogy James Gunn directed since 2014. It will be set after Thor: Love and Thunder and the Guardians will come Disney Plus Holiday special.

Outside of some line-up changes after Guardians 3 – Dave Bautista won’t be returning as Drax, while Gunn teased some of the deadliest characters in the trilogy – we don’t know this is great. Anyway, to wit, Will Poulter will be playing Adam Warlock, whose appearance was teased in Guardians 2’s post-credits scene. Deadline reported that Borat 2 star Maria Bakalova (open in new cast) (expected to voice Cosmo the Space Dog), The Suicide Squad’s Daniela Melchior (open in new cast), and Crazy Rich Asians’ Nico Santos (opens in new list. ) also appears to have been cast.

As confirmed at Comic-Con, Chukwudi Iwuji (Peacemaker) will play the evil High Evolutionary. He seems to have a history with Rocket, so expect plenty of teary moments with our favorite anthropomorphic raccoon.

A trailer was shown during Marvel’s Comic-Con presentation, but Gunn said it won’t go live until he’s happy with its VFX (opens in new listing). So we can wait a while for that exciting Marvel Phase 5 movie to come.

The Marvels

The Marvels

While it’s essentially a Captain Marvel sequel, this Nia DaCosta-directed film will see a superhero-only team on the big screen for the first time. That is, if you underestimate Avengers: Endgame’s all-girl ensemble during the epic battle against Thanos’ forces.

Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers will be reunited with Teyonah Parris’ Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Danvers’ best friend Maria (Lashana Lynch) from the first film. The last time we saw Rambeau, aka Photon, he found his own superpowers in WandaVision, hopefully it’s a scary and stronger family reunion between the pair. The Ms. Marvel’s Iman Vellani will also do his own film after he appeared in his own TV show.

Elsewhere, Zawe Ashton (Velvet Buzzsaw) has also become the villain of the movie, while Park Seo-joon (Parasite) will play an unnamed character. Samuel L Jackson suggested that Nick Fury would also be part of the cast. Finally, for the Greatphase (open to the new list), Marvel can introduce some Inhuman elements to the MCU in The Marvels.

The main film was wrapped at the end of 2022 but, as reported by Variety (open in the new list), its release date was pushed back because Ant-Man 3 is still in production . Repairs are being made – Jackson confirmed to Jimmy Kimmel (opening the new list) – that’s why it’s late.

Blade

Blade

After his cameo in The Eternals, Blade is getting his own MCU movie. There’s no word on when filming will begin, but reports say it won’t begin until late 2022.

It will star Mahershala Ali as the famous vampire hunter. Delroy Lindo (Da 5 Bloods, The Harder They Fall) has joined the cast – MCU leaker Greatphase (opening the new cast) says he’s playing Jamal Afari – while Milan Ray (The Wonder Years) is reportedly sign up to play a supporting role, according to Direct (opens in new menu).

The experts, Bassam Tariq (Mogul Mowgli) is its director, while Stacy Osei-Kuffour (Watchmen, Hunters) is writing the script. Narcos: Mexican filmmaker Damian Garcia has reportedly joined the project (in Murphy’s Multiverse (opens in new menu)), too.

Murphy’s Multiverse (open in new listing) also claims that Blade is looking to build a vampire hunting team as part of the film’s plot, while Marvel scooper Grace Randolph (open in the new tab) said that the film will follow the lead of Eternals and be set in several eras. Greatphase (open in new tab) heard similar rumors, but suggested that we’ll be getting a Blade movie mostly set in the present day.

According to a Marvel VFX supervisor, Blade could join Kit Harington’s Black Knight (in CBR (opens in new listing)), but Moon Knight star Oscar Isaac also wants the Midnight Sons team- up with Blade. Given that Moon Knight producer Grant Curtis just told TechRadar that the vigilante could show up in the MCU, it’s definitely a possibility.

Captain America: New World Order

A new Captain America movie starring Anthony Mackie’s Sam Wilson is in development for Marvel Phase 5.

Malcolm Spellman (Falcon and the Winter Soldier (FATWS)) is writing the story (per The Hollywood Reporter (opens in new listing)), while Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) is said to direct (again, via THR (open).in the new menu)). Little else is known about the movie at the moment, but the Marvel creator Nate Moore suggests that it will be a trailer (open in the new list), which is questionable how then Wilson’s Cap continues to go into a world without the Avengers following the. FATWS events.

Former Captain America star Chris Evans has denied suggestions that he’ll play a supporting role (open to new list) (despite MCU insider Greatphase (open to new list) saying as much). At the moment, there is no word if Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier will return, although he has expressed his interest in appearing in some cases (via Extra TV (opens in the new list)).

Thunderbolts

Billed as an anti-hero Avengers film, Marvel is making a Thunderbolts movie. The editor of Paper Towns Jake Schreier has already closed to editors (on Deadline (open in the new list)), but no author or information has been revealed.

However, it is expected that many of the MCU characters with bad behavior will be part of the team. Black Widow pair Yelena Belova and Taskmaster, Falcon and Winter Soldier duo Barom Zemo and US Agent, and Tim Roth’s Abomination (set to appear in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law) are said to be part of the cast .

For his part, US Agent actor Russell Wyatt expressed his interest in appearing (in The Digital Fix (opens in a new tab)), but Greatphase (opens in a new list) suggests that Marvel will feature a new character from the comics – Dallas Riordan – as the group’s anti-hero to Suicide Squad’s Rick Flag.

Marvel Phase 5 TV shows

What If…? season 2

What if…? season 2 is already in development. According to head writer AC Bradley and director Bryan Andrew, one episode is ready to go (the Tony Stark and Gamora-centric stuff that didn’t make it into season 1), others are nearing completion. others need more work. DiscussingFilm (opens in a new tab) has reportedly revealed a few key episodic details, but we won’t spoil the surprises here.

Everett K. Ross will appear. Meanwhile, as revealed during the Comic-Con only teaser, Don Cheadle’s War Machine and Cobie Smulders’ Maria Hill will also be coming.

Speaking during a panel discussion for The Hollywood Reporter (opening in the new tab), Jackson hinted that we’ll see more of the life of Fury from all the best in Secret Invasion. Everything else is confirmed, although Smulders revealed that the series will be darker in tone than we expect (in Entertainment Weekly (opens in new list)).

Kyle Bradstreet (Mr Robot) wrote the series, although a new writer has also been brought in to help improve the writing. Meanwhile, Thomas Bezucha (Let Her Go) and Ali Selim (Condor) are on directing duties.

Echo

Fresh from her supporting role in Hawkeye, Alaqua Cox’s Maya Lopez/Echo is making her own show, which is directed by Sydney Freeland (Navajo) and Catriona McKenzie (Gunaikurnai).

Zach McClarnon, who played Lopez’s father in Hawkeye, is back. Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk and Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock/Daredevil are also expected to have key supporting roles (per The Hollywood Reporter (opens in new listing)).

Chaske Spencer (Wild Indian), Tantoo Cardinal (Killers of the Flower Moon), Dervery Jacobs (Reservation Dogs), Cody Lightning (Hey, Viktor!), and Graham Greene (1883), have been cast in roles that not shown. The image of Braydee Cardinal was also reported to have joined the cast (thanks to Reddit (opens in new tab) for finding it), while the Marvel leaker Daniel RPK (via Nação Marvel (opens in new tab) )) suggests Jesse James Keitel and Morningstar Angeline are also signed. up. Also, the Greatphase (opening in the new menu) shows that two evil women have yet to be revealed – could Keitel and Angeline be the masterminds behind these antagonists?

Another expert named CanWeGetSomeToast (opens in new menu) says that there will be supernatural/spiritual elements in the show, which will be based to Echo’s Native American ancestry. Finally, filming is expected to end in August 2022.

Loki season 2

The return of the trickster god was teased in the season 1 finale and, finally, the next part is being filmed before the mid-2023 broadcast. Parts of the Marvel Phase 5 TV show are likely to be set in the 1960s or 1970s, too, based on teaser images (opening in a new window) from the TV show’s London-based sets and locations. .

Tom Hiddleston will reprise his role as Loki, while Own Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, and Gugu Mbatha-Raw are confirmed to return for Loki season 2 as Agent Mobius, Sylvie, and Revanna Renslayer . Wunmi Mosaku’s Hunter B-15 could also return, but Greatphase (opening in the new list) suggests that a super team called the Squadron Supreme could make their MCU debut. . Finally, Samuel L Jackson’s Nick Fury can be revealed (via the Ironheart News Twitter fan account (opens in new menu)).

Filming has begun in Chicago and, while things are progressing from its production, no official information has been revealed by Marvel. CineStealth (opens in a new tab) and Illuminerdi say that The Hood will be the main villain of the show, but the latter says (opens in a new tab) Obidiah Stane – the son of Tony’s enemy Stark in Iron Man 1 – will be part of the cast. . Enter these items as “unconfirmed” for now.

X-Men 97
