Aspira, an Irish international consulting and technology company, has announced the appointment of Thomas McGrath as Chief Business Consultant. The promise is made by boosting growth in Aspira’s global business.
Previous Advice & amp; Delivery Manager at Aspira, Mr. McGrath has over 20 years of experience in delivering programs and advising on managing change. Prior to joining Aspira he previously held leadership positions in international organizations in the United States and Europe. Aspira carries over 160 teams at all of their offices in Cork, Amsterdam, The Hague, and Malaysia. The company offers a wide range of consulting and technical services and has completed nearly 1,500 projects for their clients to date.

Mr. McGrath graduated from the Sligo Institute of Technology and the University of Ulster. He holds additional positions as Senior Assistant Director of the Irish Institute of Operations.

Sidero – Irish software, cloud, and digital transformation expert – has announced the appointment of Joe Dowling as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Joe brings nearly 30 years of experience in the technology industry – when he was granted ownership of three U.S. states – to the role.
As CTO, Joe will lead the technology leadership for Sidero to deliver digital switching solutions to customers. Utilizing the company’s core cloud capabilities, it will be responsible for enabling migration of application and renewal services on a scale, while maximizing customer needs as the speed of the digital workplace continues to increase. It will also build a smaller Sidero service, containers and DevOps offerings, ensuring continued integration with delivery services.
Prior to that commitment, Joe spent more than five years as Agile Line Manager with Sidero, leading and managing service delivery from four teams and a number of individual consultants to some of the company’s key clients.
Joe joined Sidero from the Athlone Research Laboratory of the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was the Technology Research Director in charge of specialized programs and innovations. Prior to that, he was Senior Researcher and Director of Wireless, Internet of Things (IoT) and High Performance Radio (RFID) services at the Center.
Previously, Joe spent 15 years working with Nokia in London and San Diego. During this time, he held positions in all major business sectors as Systems Engineer and Consultant.
During his tenure, Joe was granted three U.S. patents in the field of communications; priority channels in communication; and intermodulation distortion, linear measurement.
A graduate of the Masters in Cloud-Native Computing from the Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT), he has been published in numerous conferences and publications.

Cantec has announced the appointment of Brendan White as its Chief Marketing Officer. Founded in 1994, the Communications Team has grown over the past 27 years to manage three different divisions within the group – Docutec, a leader in managed printing services, SmartOffice Automation, software automation software providers Software and Promotive, Creative Graphic Design and Marketing division. of the organization.
In the coming months, Brendan will play a key role in developing and implementing Cantec Group’s digital advertising strategy and role in Advertising, helping customers improve their products and online presence in this space.
Brendan brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having previously worked with national and international media companies. Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Dublin City and has combined experience in journalism with nearly a decade in digital advertising, specializing in content writing, email and social media as well as SEO.
