The final Thursday of the third quarter brings announcements of new agency launches, rebranding of industry veterans and intriguing new campaigns that reflect where we’re headed as we head into the new year.

Corel has been completely rebranded as Alludo, with the refined purpose of empowering “everything you do.” The rebranding presents Alludo as software that frees companies from everyday constraints – to enable people to reimagine where, when and how we work.

Mission-driven strategic consulting agency BeyondBrands has announced the expansion of a new advertising and marketing services division. Led by industry veterans Jeff Smaul and Larisa Hrabec, BeyondBrands will harness the power of strategy and creativity to spread the word about your brand.

Peter Sayn-Wittgenstein, ex-CEO of Wunderman Thompson, Kristie Brown, ex-CEO of Wunderman Thompson, joins Ahab Nimry, founder of Gut Branding, to launch new agency Big Day. Big Day is based in San Diego and specializes in branding and campaigns, already serving a client list including Casper, YMCA and Royal Caribbean Group.

BrandStar was named Selah Pools & Spa agency’s strategic partner for branding, digital transformation and design. BrandStar will lead the development and implementation of technology, design and performance initiatives to increase awareness of Selah’s offerings.

Gut Toronto has been selected as the creative agency of record for GoodLife Fitness. Gut Toronto will lead the creation of the fitness company’s new brand strategy and platform, with additional campaigns to follow in the coming year.

House 337 was named by Peta U.K. to create a campaign that encourages people to embrace vegan fashion. The campaign will educate the public about where clothing comes from, persuading a shift from animal-based fashion to vegan fashion.

Wellframe and Linkwell Health announced the launch of Wellsquared, a new product designed to deepen engagement with members and help health plans deliver the modern health experience members expect. Wellsquared is a partnership between Wellframe, a member solutions company for health plans—and Linkwell Health, a consumer engagement technology and content company serving health plans and health service organizations.

Committee for Children, a nonprofit organization that advocates for educational programs to advance children’s safety and well-being through social-emotional learning (SEL), named R&R Partners as its new AOR after a highly competitive review led by search consultant AAR Partners. R&R Partners will lead a complete rebranding of Committee for Children to help reach even more than the 24.4 million children worldwide the organization reaches each year—and help support and grow its mission of building supportive communities for every child through social networks – emotional learning.

Rain the Growth Agency is working with barre3 to launch a new digital campaign promoting in-studio, at-home and on-the-go options. The campaign aims to bring customers who have been stuck with home classes since the pandemic back into studies, while continuing to increase subscription sign-ups for online and app-based classes.

Integrated marketing and communications agency RockOrange has implemented a four-day working week following positive results in studies from the UK and across Europe. Since implementation, the agency has seen an increase in creativity, energy and productivity around the world.

StinkStudios was hired to lead Otta’s first global brand campaign on the job search platform. The campaign will aim to raise awareness in the new year, as workers everywhere start to think about their next career move – and will run across out-of-home media and video across social channels in the UK and US.

TBWAWorldwide, part of the Omnicom Group, has acquired the business of innovation agency dotdotdash, adding deeper design experience and impressive technology capabilities to a top global creative collective. Based in Portland, dotdotdash specializes in building brand experiences of the future at the intersection of culture and technology, with expertise in expanding brand ideas into new spaces and places. TBWA began incorporating dotdotdash into key global brands, including Adidas and McDonald’s. The acquisition strengthens the relationship between the two companies, while bringing a more flexible working model that helps TBWA leverage a broad set of highly specialized skills for clients as needed.

Video API and infrastructure platform Zype and ad tech company TripleLift are launching an integration to enable joint users to use in-show advertising in playout streams on connected TV. The service will reduce ad breaks without reducing revenue per stream for content owners.

Global digital performance marketing agency Tug is further building its presence in North America in response to client demand by opening an office in New York. Tug already leads the global business for leading legal software provider Leap, with local agency teams managing its display, social, PPC, SEO and data and analytics across multiple markets. Tug also announced the appointment of former Proximity global CEO Mike Dodds to the board in a non-executive director role.

WPP has acquired leading communications agency JeffreyGroup. By joining WPP’s Hill+Knowlton strategies, JeffreyGroup will double the agency’s footprint in Latin America.

Samsung has awarded its European CRM accounts to Wunderman Thompson UK. The integrated marketing agency retained the CRM account through a competitive regulatory review, helping Samsung build a connected, data-driven customer experience. Wunderman Thompson has been Samsung’s CRM agency of record since 2017 and will continue to work across the account, while driving projects through its first-party data.
