The US is also in the midst of an economic “catch-up” to catch up in recent years. The author sees the catch-up as more of a continuation of past trends than an event that dramatically and negatively affects US markets.

The author sees positive economic issues for the US in the coming months. He sees the opportunity for stock markets to return and experience short-term gains as “Achilles heel” of economic recovery. He sees the European experience as a big part of this. This will help the US economy recover from the downward trend of the last quarter and experience over-trend growth in the coming months.

The Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University invites experienced national security policy professionals to apply for various teaching positions in an exciting new hybrid Executive Masters of National Security Policy for middle-career students seeking to advance in their leadership roles in the national security policy realm. in the public and private sectors. Selected candidates will work with the existing Duke faculty to build an ambitious new program and set up the new degree curriculum. Call for Submission: Now Accepted Articles to Consider in SIPR Spring 2021 Print Issue

The Stanford International Policy Review invites submission of graduate students, policy practitioners, academics, and other professionals for its spring 2021 peer-reviewed printing. SIPR publishes two issues per year, in winter and in spring. SIPR publishes articles, comments, policy memos and topic letters, as well as book reviews on international policy topics.

The Spring 2021 theme theme is the future of internationalism. SIPR is looking for articles that provide insightful policy analysis that address the gaps and opportunities of the current international system. It is home to a number of specialized centers, institutes, and advanced research groups that foster deeper levels of research, analysis, and learning on topics of critical interest to the Navy: the China Maritime Studies Institute, Cyber ​​and Innovation Policy Institute, Russia Maritime Studies Institute, and the Halsey, Mahan, and Brodie groups. The faculty of the SORD Department employs varied and multidisciplinary approaches to national security issues, generating new knowledge for the Navy and the Department of Defense. Advanced Research Groups (ARPs). There are a number of ARPs within SORD that produce applied research and analysis to a series of regional, operational, and strategic challenges that pose naval and joint strength now and in the future. These research programs involve group work, individual study, faculty collaboration, wargaming, workshops, and research trips to national labs, operational commands, the Pentagon, and a wide range of other DoD, academic, and private sector organizations. Most of the groups include a mix of full-time faculty and volunteer resident students from the college who contribute to the ARPs research for their master’s degree and JPME academic credit. From discovering emerging war technologies to developing operational concepts and strategies, ARPs provide student scientists with hands-on experience that can be applied to their careers. In addition, ARPs provide direct input to key planners and decision-makers in the U.S. Naval Force, via DoD and U.S. Interagency.

Qualifications and competencies. Candidates must have an advanced degree and experience to evaluate and evaluate strategic, operational and tactical war concepts.
